What aquarium plants need only low light?

I am wanting to place a few live plants in my newer aquarium but don't really want to buy a stronger light. I am just wondering if there are plants that will do ok in lower light. I have a 20 gallon tank and it came with an overhead flourescent light that is only 15 watts. Any plants that would be ok with that lighting?

It is going to be tought to get anything to grow with such a low light level. Anubias, java fern, most mosses, cryptocoryne walkerii and wendtii should be able to make it. You could probably get some floating plants to grow, duckweed, frogbit, etc.

It's got fairly big green leaves and the flowers on it are very similar to a peace lillies. But they are purple and not cupped like the peace lilly.
Cheers

It might be an anthurium.

tafbutton blue16 Can someone tell me what this indoor purple flowering plant is?

In my office I have two small bonsai, a dwarf juniper and a banyan fig. Both plants have tiny gnat-like insects flying around them. I keep them watered and they have green moss covering the dirt in their pots. They're both healthy looking, I'm just trying to get rid of the flying bugs.

Anything specific I should look for when choosing a bug spray? I don't want it to stink (can't open the windows, I'm in an office building), and I don't want to hurt my plants.
I'm not keeping the juniper indoors, I just bring it to work with me sometimes. Most of the time it's out on my back deck. Also don't worry, my back deck doesn't get full sun, only partial sun in the mornings.

mix 1tsp dish liquid,1tsp cooking oil andthe rest water in a spray bottle.spray plants thoroughly, wipe off,and spray again, will clean, get rid of bugs, make shiny, and keep bugs off. best part is it wont harm the plant u or the environment

What are the best house plants for low light?

I have a bathroom with one window, about 22 inches long 11 inches tall. By itself, it doesn't let in a lot of light, but it there just happens to be a great big tree right outside. The result is very very little natural light is in the room. I've tried putting up plant bulbs, but I don't really want to leave those on for long periods of time. I really like plants though, so i was wondering if anyone knew any good potted house plants i can keep on the ledge just underneath the window?

Philodendrons are easy to grow and require little light. You might also consider mother-in-laws tongue or ivy. Ficus plants are another variety that will respond well to indirect light.
